 Greetings

My name is Eva Truong, and I am a proud mother of three accomplished and compassionate sons. Watching them grow into their careers and lives has been a deeply fulfilling experience and a reflection of the values I hold dear: growth, resilience, and connection. These values are at the heart of my work as a counsellor, where I support individuals and families in navigating life’s challenges with compassion, empathy, and care.

I bring a wealth of education and experience to my practice, rooted in a lifelong dedication to learning and growth. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Psychology, Communication, and Languages, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Science, a Master’s degree in Psychology and Counselling, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Mental Health Services. Additionally, I have completed numerous certifications focused on mental health and well-being across the lifespan. I stay abreast of empirical research and regularly participate in workshops and webinars to ensure continuous professional development, allowing me to provide the best possible care for those I support.

For over 10 years, I have supported individuals on their unique journeys, helping them build resilience, manage emotions, and achieve personal goals. In the past three years, I have focused on providing clinical support for challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and societal pressures. These experiences have shaped my compassionate, client-centered approach, tailoring each session to the needs of those I serve.

I understand how deeply emotional well-being concerns can affect individuals, as well as their families and loved ones. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your emotions, overcome barriers, and build a confident and hopeful path forward. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, a family member, or a friend, I am here to work collaboratively with you, offering support and understanding every step of the way.

Taking the first step towards counselling is a meaningful decision, and I would be honoured to walk alongside you on this journey.

Warmly,

Eva Truong
